Rumors are surfacing that Ubisoft plans to re-release South Park: The Stick of Truth on Xbox One and PS4.
According to a press release South Park: The Stick of Truth is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on February 13th, 2018. South Park for $29.99. The Stick of Truth was made available digitally to those who pre-ordered South Park: The Fractured But Whole on current generation consoles but could not be purchased alone. This would give everyone access to the game now.
South Park: The Stick of Truth released on March 4th, 2014 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and was co-developed by Obsidian Entertainment and South Park Digital Studios. The game introduced a new character called The New Kid, who recently moved to Colorado, South Park, and gets involved in an epic fantasy war between humans and elves.
South Park: The Stick of Truth was a smash hit, selling 1.5 million copies by March 2015 and widely considering one of the best adaptation of licensed material to a video game.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole successfully became another excellent adaptation of the South Park universe. I reviewed the game and gave it a 92/100 and consider it one of the best games of 2017.
