Shadow of the Colossus PS4 is weeks away but new gameplay footage is surfacing featuring the updated PS2 game, and it looks outstanding.
Shadow of the Colossus released on PS2 2005 before rereleasing on the PS4 in Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection in 2011. The new updated version, coming next month and remastered by Bluepoint Games looks like an entirely new game.
IGN showcased about 2 hours worth of gameplay footage featuring traveling, combat, and the Colossi themselves. Unlike the PS2 or PS3 versions of the game dynamic lighting, HDR, and new textures bring the game to new heights. With character models featuring intricate details not possible in 2005.
Shadow of the Colossus PS4 launches on PS4 February 6th.
