Those hoping to hop into Monster Hunter World when it launches will have to download a day one patch.
Day-one patches have become a norm among video games and Monster Hunter World is no exception. The patch was confirmed by Ryozo Tsujimoto and will activate the game's multiplayer features, Gallery Mode, which allows players to re-watch cutscenes, and poogies.
Poogies are pet pigs that follow the player around and can be interacted with. Poogies will also vibrate when picked up when treasure is near.
It's unclear how big the patch will be but considering it's required for multiplayer you better clear some space.
Monster Hunter World will release January 26th for Xbox One and PS4. It'll come to PC in Autumn 2018
