While we'll never see Half-Life 3, we're all thinking it, Kingdom Hearts 3 is still in development and a new placeholder date.
Target has updated their placeholder to November 1, 2018, which initially had a release date of December 31, 2018. It should be noted that this isn't an official confirmation from Square Enix since major games usually release on a Tuesday or Friday and November 1, 2018, is a Thursday. Rather this is likely a placeholder for the release month of the game.
Kingdom Hearts 3 has been one of the most anticipated games of not only this generation but last generation. While Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance served as a sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2 many have been yearning for another fully realized console release since it released on the PS2.
