Atlus confirmed that a Persona 5 anime called Persona 5 The Animation is being produced by Atlus and A-1 Pictures.
The anime will release in Japan by 2018 and eventually, a dubbed version will release in the west.
This isn't the first time the Persona franchise was adapted into an anime. Persona 3 had a film series, Persona 4 had 2 TV series, and Persona 5 got a 30-minute anime called The Daybreakers before the game launched.
Persona 5 is now available for PS4 and PS3.
