After being previously announced for a US release date of May 26, 2017, developer Arc System Works announces that European markets will also see a same-day release of their next-gen fighter GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2 for the PlayStation 4. To our surprise, it has also been revealed to be released for the PlayStation 3 console.

GUITLY GEAR Xrd Rev 2 is finally rolling out and new characters are poised to join the fray in REV 2, including a long-time fan favorite Baiken, and Answer, playable for the first time in GUILTY GEAR. The game will also see a rebalanced cast, new stages, new moves and improved online functionality.
Revelator epilogues will be included in REV 2 and subsequent stories will be included for all characters except Sol will be available to upgrade for free. REV 2 will be see a physical release on the PS4 for $39.99.
Fans of the series will appreciate this good news… For those that already own digital versions of GUILTY GEAR Xrd Revelator, REV 2 will be available as a digital upgrade via PSN for both PS4 and PS3 for $19.99. How about that?!
