The emperor penguin is a water/steel type and the final evolution form of Piplup, the water starter Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl. At the moment no footage of it fighter exist.

As the other added fighters Croagunk, Scizor, and Darkrai, Empoleon is exclusive to the Japanese arcade and will release on December 15th.

Pokken Tournament is now available for Wii U.

Opinion: Given that Bandai Namco hasn't released any of the new characters on the Wii U and that the Nintendo Switch is on the way it's likely that the game will get a re-release with all the new characters. With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild now delayed Nintendo is going to have to release some acclaimed games to make up for the Swtich's launch this March.
