The beta for Battlefield 1 was popular, enough to attract 13 million players by the end.
According to EA in the 9 days of the beta:
13.2 Players Participated
28.9 million melee kills
13 million kills from the Armored Train
62.2 million kills on horseback
30% of modes chosen were assault
28% choose the Scout
“I want to personally thank you all for all the great feedback you’ve given us,” he stated. “We’re trawling through forum posts, social media mentions, and digging into some great data. We’re identifying what worked well, and what didn’t work as well. We truly value your input. In the near future, we’ll have more details on the changes we’ll be making to the full version of the game.”
