Today Andrew House, CEO of Global Sony Interactive Entertainment, introduced that PS4 Neo is actually PlayStation 4 Pro.

PlayStation 4 lead architect Mark Cerny, It'll come with a 1TB hard drive, HDR, 4K resolution, and easy transfer for saved files. A demo is Insomniac's upcoming Spider-Man and Ubisoft's For Honor were shown to highlight future games with this new tech. Cerny went on to show older games getting the same treatment such Rise of the Tomb RaiderDeus Ex: Mankind Divided, Middle-earth: Shadows of Mordor, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

Day's Gone was used to highlight how HDR and what Cerny regards as conventional televisions. Looking at the difference it's clear, HDR does a magnificent job of making the images higher quality.

PS4 Pro won't require a 4K television or HDR to use. Developers are free to use these advancements as they see fit.

Games, both physical and digital, will run on both the original model and PS4 Pro. For those who use their PS4 for streaming will be glad to hear that Netflix and YouTube will support 4K content.

A firmware upgrade coming next week to PS4 will allow every PS4 system to utilize HDR technology. Thanks Sony!
