The classic N64 game, Pokémon Snap, will release on the Wii U virtual console this Thursday.
Pokémon Snap released by in 1999 and follows the player through multiple environments as they attempt to capture Pokémon on film instead of a Pokéball. The on-rails gameplay combines first-person shooting and puzzle solving in order to get Pokémon to either evolve or reveal themselves for the player to snap the perfect photo.
After the recent success of Pokémon Go and the massive hit of the now removed Pokémon Uranium rereleasing this cult classic now is probably better than later.
Pokémon Snap will be available for download on the Wii U Virtual Store Thursday, August 18th. No pricing has been established.
