It's not enough that Nintendo is outclassing Sony in the stock market, they're making a ton of money. According to App tracking firm Sensor Tower Pokémon has been downloaded 30 million times and earned $35 million in revenue.
This isn't surprisingly seeing that Pokémon Go took up nearly half of all mobile purchases in one day! Pokémon Go currently isn't available in Japan due to an email leak from McDonalds Japan.
Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm, beating out Twitter, Snapchat, and Tinder in active users and sprouting a series of illegal and sometimes deadly actions. At the same Pokémon Go has brought many people together due to use of PokStops and rare Pokémon appearing in specific locations, for example the Central Park stampede while it was made known Vaporeon was located in the area.
