Yesterday it was revealed that Rise of the Tomb Raider would release on the PS4 this October as part of the 20th anniversary edition.
While the cover art may share some similarities from the Uncharted franchise this new version of the game will have additions that will separate itself from the original game, specially cooperative survival mode. This variant called Endurance will come to PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game and challenge up to two players to survive an endless wave of enemies. Basically horde mode.
You have two meters of area to cover and must remain warm and fed during the assault. In between waves you can look for tombs that provide resources and upgrades, and hunt animals for food.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary will launch for PS4 on October 11th.
