The time has come for a new Humble Bundle and this time it's the Humble 2K Bundle 2 that has the spotlight. In a not-so-surprising move, considering the low number of players the game seems to have these days, Battleborn alongside skins for the game and even some currency is included in this bundle.
The tier one rewards, that can be purchased for $1 or more include Spec Ops: The Line, The Darkness II and Duke Nukem Forever. The second tier is made up of Sid Meier's Civilization V, NBA 2K16, Mafia II: Digital Deluxe Edition, Battleborn Summer Skins Pack and a handful of games that will be announced soon. The third tier, for which you need to pay $15 or more is where you'll find Battleborn, 230 Platinum (the in-game currency that was added not so long ago) and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
It hasn't been an easy road for Battleborn. A barely noticeable marketing campaign alongside releasing the game in close proximity to Overwatch have clearly impacted it and not in a positive manner. Do you think this Humble Bundle will be a first step towards saving it or is it about time Gearbox considered stepping into free-to-play territory? Let us know in the comments.
