Bethesda is giving PC players who own a copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and all the content packs will get a free copy of the Special Edition version of the game.
Todd Howard confirmed this offer today while talking to Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler. Due to the extensive work modders have put into creating improved graphics on the PC version of Skyrim everyone who owns the game and every Skyrim DLC pack will get a free copy of the Special Edition version.
Seems fitting seeing that PC players have spent copius amounts of time improving the experience already.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition launches for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on October 28th.
