Creator of The Walking Dead, Robert, Kirkman, has revealed that Clementine will return in Season 3 of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. However it’ll be an older version of her.
Kirkman revealed the news in a new video about Telltale’s adaptations ahead of the The Walking Dad: Michonne’s finale due out on April 26.
Kirkman explained that “Season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics currently - like the books that are coming out now are roughly the same time frame that Season 3 will be in.”
The first two seasons Telltale’s The Walking Dead took place during the beginning of the calamity, with the comics starting 4 years after the outbreak. Kirkman didn’t reveal if Clementine will return as a protagonist only that “we’ll be seeing her, seeing where she’s at and what’s going on with her, which is going to be great.”
Currently no specific release date was given for Season 3 but Telltale has confirmed that the game will release in 2016,
