First new and updated rewards have been added to all high-level actives, and Infusions now upgrades gear to the existing Light of the consumed item directly. Meaning that amor and weapon Infusion are 1 to 1.

The new Chroma feature can be applied to select sets of gear and weapons to further customize your character. Chroma and Shaders are separate, allowing you to mix and match options without effecting the other. Chroma can be re-rolled for 100 Glimmer but only one type of color can be activated at a time. Dismantling an armor with a Chroma detail will use it up as well.

Those who collected all the Taken-themed gear, called Desolate Armor, will earn a unique “Shiver” emote.

Sterling Treasure is a new consumable item, and can be earned each week at the Postmaster by completing one Level 41 Prison of Elders activity and one match in the feature Weekly Crucible Playlist. Chroma is only available through Sterling treasures.

Sterling Treasures can be purchased through Tess Everis in the Eververse Trading Company stores. In addition to Chroma players can pick up a new ship or Sparrow from this vender.

Fraction packages also contain Chroma infused weapons and Legendary armor for those with 330 Light. The Prison of Elders Legendary Gear has been given the Chroma treatment and can drop gear valued at 335 Light in Challenge of the Elders. Reputation will be increased to give players ranked up fraction packages and more.

More vault space has been added and year one weapons will return. Bungie also stated that the Queensbreaker’s Bow Fusion Rifle has been confirmed for Year 2, with more exotics coming soon.

New emotes include Instructional Dance, Do it, Kicks Dance, Praise The Gun, Amazed, Sumo, Bye-Bye, Praise The Light, I Don’t Know, Crane Kick, and Rude Taunt.
