Sony has revealed the next lineup of games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers in May.
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (PS4)
This 2D platformer/brawler inspired by Mexican folklore has a vivid art style and an intricate combat system. Developed by DrinkBox Studios players take control of Juan as he fights various enemies and overcome grueling obstacles to rescue El Presidente’s daughter.
Ether One (PS4)
Following an employee of a futuristic memory-retrieval company, called Ether Institute of Telepathic Medicine, the player must investigate the memories of a 69-year-old woman named Jean Thompson. Diagnosed with dementia the player must retrieve her lost memories by solving puzzles.
The Unfinished Swan (PS4 | PS3 | PS Vita)
Developed by Giant Sparrow players take control of a boy named Monroe as he paints his way to end this fairly tale. Praised for its wanderlust art style and relaxing tone The Unfinished Swan will definitely delight PlayStation Plus members.
Race the Sun (PS4 | PS3 | PS Vita)
This racing game forces the player to compete with the sun. Developed by Flippfly you take control of a solar-powered spaceship, dodging obstacles such as laser beams and other ships while collecting pickups. This while the sun sets on the horizon, and if you lose sight of the star you lose.
Hohokum (PS4 | PS3 |PS Vita)
Explore a colorful and crazy world while listening to an incredible soundtrack. Developed by Honeyslug the player will explore 17 whimsical worlds as a snakelike creature with no set objectives. Strange but worth playing.
Murasaki Baby (PS Vita)
This side-scrolling puzzle-platformer was developed by Ovosonico has players navigating a world filled with children’s fantasies and fears. Using the Vita pad players must guide Baby through the world by “holding” her hand and guiding her through the game.
Remember April is almost over, and these games will replace all the previous PlayStation Plus free games on the first Tuesday of May.
