Another rumor debunked, this time about the notoriously popular Kingdom Hearts III. Today the voice actor for Goofy, Bill Farmer, tweeted that Kingdom Hearts III would release in 2015. Farmer stated that the voice-acting for the game was complete, and he has been working on the project for a few years.
As you can predict, revealing such sensitive information can cause havoc, especially when spread by various sources as truth. It’s possible that Farmer mistook Kingdom Hearts 3 for Kingdom Hearts 3D. Kingdom Hearts 3D was teased at the end of the recently released Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX and is the only game not to have a remastered version.
This would be an amazing surprise for fans of the series, after all Kingdom Hearts II released over five years ago on the PS2. With the game failing to release on the PS3 and fans less than delighted with handheld releases, gamers have been waiting for Kingdom Hearts III for a long time. However, since the game is still in early development, the safest thing to do is not to get excited.
Kingdom Hearts is an upcoming action RPG game developed by Square Enix and published by Disney Interactive Studios for the PS4 and Xbox One. It was first announced at E3 2013, followed by an early trailer showcasing Sora facing against a tornado of Heartless.
