Sometimes good news comes from the most unlikely of places. Today at Quake Con 2014 Tango Gameworks announced that The Evil Within will be launching on October 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
The game was originally supposed to launch on October 21, one week after the new release date.
The Evil Within is in development at ZeniMax-owned studio Tango Gameworks with the mastermind behind the Resident Evil series, Shinji Mikami, as lead director of the project. It was originally suppose to release at the end of August before being pushed back to October, which will be a terrifying date for everyone’s wallet.
