Trion Worlds, the creators of the fantasy-themed MMO RIFT, have announced that their game will free-to-play on June 12 after 2 years of being released.
The new model will include an optional subscription with free content that include dungeons, question, consumables, cosmetics and gear will be in the cash shop or REX. Those who pay the fee with gain "special bonus such as currency, mount speed, various types of experience, and more".
