Creator of the classic title Toejam & Earl, Greg Johnson, is heading a new studio called HumaNature and is currently developing a new game for the PS3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita called Doki-Doki Universe.
Johnson described this new title as a "RPG/Simulation/Interactive Story game". The game stars a robot named QT377665 or QT3 for short. His family told him to wait on an asteroid and that they would be coming back for him, 11,432 days have passed. Things become more depressing when a green hot-dog named Alien Jeff informs QT3 that his model has been recalled and scraped because they lack humanity. Your job is to travel throughout the universe to gather "humanity" and report back to the company to prevent your destruction.
Doki-Doki Universe will be a free download and allow players to transverse the universe, take personality tests and send messages through the cross-platform message system called Doki-Doki Mail that animates anything you write. Despite the goofy animations the story seems depressing from my point of view, perhaps because it reminded of the movie Artificial Intelligence.
