With a company like Ubisoft, it's not everyday they give such a huge discount on a recently released title. Gamers are in for quite the treat as currently they will have a chance to snag the recently released title, The Crew: Motorfest, with 15 to 20 percent off the game. The discount will vary depending on which edition of the game you purchase, but that's still quite the impressive discount. Alongside the discount, Ubisoft has also announced that there will be a second trial period, where players will be able to play the first five hours of The Crew: Motorfest, which will have their progress carry over to the full game.
The Crew: Motorfest first launched back on 14 September 2023, the game is the latest installment in Ubisoft's online racing series and has made quite a few notable changes to the series. One of the most notable changes is the setting, The Crew: Motorfest takes place exclusively on the scenic Hawaiian Islands of O'ahu, while the previous games took place in a scaled down version of the United States. Players can also ride a multitude of different vehicles including cars, boats and planes as they complete various races across the island.
Despite the game barely being a month old, players will have a chance to get the game at a discounted price. As mentioned before, the discount varies from version to version, with The Crew: Motorfest Standard Edition being 20% off and The Crew: Motorfest Gold and Ultimate Edition being 15% off. As of writing, the sale is currently underway and players will be able to buy it on the Ubisoft Store. If you're interested in snagging the game, the sale will run until 24 October 2023, the 1-month anniversary of the game. Players on PS4 and PS5 will also be able to take advantage of the sale on 11 October, however, the sale will only run until 18 October. Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S players will have from the 13th to 16th October to get it and Epic Games Store users will get access to the sale from 14 October to 21 October 2023.
While this discount will most likely attract new players, it does also seem to indicate that Ubisoft wasn't satisfied with the game's initial launch sales, which is unlikely, considering The Crew: Motorfest was positively received by both players and critics. Perhaps this is just meant to be a celebration of the game's success but who knows.
