Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will certainly be glad to know that the new daily challenges will allow players to skip ahead in tiers for the game's battle-pass. However, this doesn't seem to be working properly and players are running into an unexpected issue of the game not tracking their daily challenges correctly, meaning you can't really use those exciting new tier skips.
The game offers plenty of fun and exciting content for players who have purchased the battle-pass for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which encourages players to try out different game modes and vary up their playstyles. By doing so, players will be able to unlock Battle Pass tier skips and let them access the rest of the content that comes with each new season of the game. This sounds all well and good, but players are running into a bit of an issue.
Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 only started earlier this month on 14 June 2023, meaning that players are still working hard to unlock all the new content that was introduced in this season, which includes a variety of new weapons, operators, bundles, maps and of course balance changes. Needless to say, players have plenty of content to unlock especially as this season was meant to introduce a way for players to skip tiers in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 battle-pass, but things haven't exactly worked out that way.
In a recent post that was posted on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 subreddit, user Instinctz showed a post that provided some information about the season's battle-pass, which included a rather disappointing downside. If Instinctz is to be believed, then it would seem that, while yes players can earn Battle Pass Tier Skips by completing daily challenges, these challenges haven't been correctly tracked, meaning that these oh so precious tier skips are quite difficult to earn. The only way to work around this is for players to grind for more matches in hope of unlocking tier skips, which in turn means that they'll have to grind even harder if they want to get all the content that comes in the battle-pass.
Other Reddit users did comment saying that the tracking issue would most likely get addressed and a solution would hopefully be implemented by the developers soon. If all goes well and these issues get resolved, players will certainly be occupied unlocking all the content that is included in the battle-pass.
