The rumors have ceased, Activision has revealed the next game in it’s billion-dollar shooter franchise called Call of Duty: Ghosts. The military-based FPS is slated to arrive on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on November 5, as well as next-generation platforms on a unspecific date. No Wii U version was announced.
The trailer doesn't show any gameplay and simply showcases the ideology behind the new title. According to the press released stated that Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature “an entirely new story, refines the series with all-new gameplay and a new setting and cast of characters”.
The debut trailer stated that it’ll release the new engine to the world during Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox “Next Generation” event on May 21. Until then I can assume that rumors will spread throughout the internet like a wild fire.
