Infinity Ward has confirmed the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts called Onslaught. The DLC will be free for season pass owners and contain 4 small to medium multiplayer maps called Fog, Bayview, Containment, and Ignition. In addition the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map Scrapyard will be returning, and joining it will be a new weapon called the Maverick: a dual purpose Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle.
On a surprising note players will be able to take control of legendary horror figure Michael Myers in the Fog multiplayer map, complete with his original musical score and axe.
The Extinction story mode will continue in Onslaught with Episode 1: Nightfall, the first part of a four-part episodic narrative. Where as the first episode dealt with the initial outbreak Nightfall will include infromation about why the creatures are on planet Earth. Players will be placed in an Alaskan facility that will feature two new enemy types called the Phantom and Breeder, as well as a new weapon.
Call of Duty: Ghosts - Onslaught will be coming on January 28 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One first. No date or pricing has been given for other platforms or non-season pass owners, however like other packs we can infer it might cost between $15-$20.
