Similar to God of War Ragnarök, Legend of YMIR features a mythological setting and storyline. The well-known Korean game creation studio WEMADE, responsible for the massively successful simple series of video games, has recently revealed their newest title.
This new game will be the developer's initial entry into more complex gaming technology, and it's a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) of the next generation that will use Unreal Engine 5. The players will embark on a mission to prevent Ragnarok, the end-of-the-world cataclysm, from destroying the kingdom of Ymir.
The producer of Legend of YMIR reveals that the game would follow the plot of Legend of MIR but with a special northern European reintroduction in the tech demo announcement released by WEMADE Global. The player versus player (PVP) gameplay that was one of the primary factors that contributed to the success of the MIR series is something that Legend of YMIR intends to carry on in the same vein. The MIR series takes place in a fantasy universe.
Legend of YMIR, the most recent game by WEMADE, is anticipated to use NFTs in a play-to-earn fashion, just like MIR4 did. Players can buy and sell Tokens based on blockchain technology, and players can even tokenize their characters to open up new avenues for in-game trade. The development team for Legend of YMIR uses cutting-edge technologies to produce a visual experience of the highest possible quality.
Upscaling, an elaborate texture system, and the Nanite and Lumen capabilities found in Unreal Engine 5 will all be utilized by the game to maintain consistent frame rates at resolutions ranging from full HD to UHD.
