Unity has decided to go with Azure as its cloud partner to facilitate the creation and operation of real-time 3D (RT3D) experiences derived from the Unity engine, which was officially announced by Microsoft. Unity provides creators with an easy path to the production of RT3D assets, which can be used in either gaming or non-gaming worlds. This is accomplished by providing creators with easy access to RT3D simulation tools and the ability to create digital twins of places and objects found in the real world.

We are also committed to extending the creation and dissemination of 3D content, delivering essential tools and technology to a wider variety of developers, and to making it simpler than it has ever been to bring games to users."

"By creating new developer tools, utilizing the latest platform innovation from silicon to cloud, and simplifying the publishing experience," adds Bond, "Unity creators will be able to realize their ambitions by bringing their games to more gamers around the world. Developers will be able to achieve their dreams by bringing their games to more gamers around the world."

The cooperation between Microsoft and Unity will, as stated in the official post, make it possible for Made with Unity game developers to more easily reach their gamers across all Windows and Xbox devices, as well as open up new chances for commercial success.
