The Last Case of Benedict Fox, a new cinematic Metroidvania, was announced along with its first trailer today at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 by Rogue Games. Players are immersed in a gothic world of exploration and puzzle-solving, platforming, and battle, all of which are rendered in 4K at 60 frames per second by Plot Twist, the company behind such titles as Tacticool Champs and Drift Zone.
A 2D side-scrolling mystery, The Last Case of Benedict Fox blends Metroidvania-style gameplay with hard fighting from Souls-like games. Limbo is an action-adventure game with a heart-wrenching plot that will appeal to fans of hard-hitting action-adventure games and emotionally-charged storytelling. In a fight against demonic entities and a mysterious organization that preys on them, players must utilize their weapons, traversal skills, and even their surroundings to survive in Limbo and the depths of the house.
