This year's biggest gaming conference on the West Coast, PAX West 2022, will bring gaming's most prominent names back to Seattle following a successful and safe comeback in 2021. PAX West 2022 will occur in the Seattle Convention Center from Friday, September 2, through Monday, September 5. The badges will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, June 16, at 3:00 p.m. ET.
There will be a crowded exhibition floor with hands-on chances for some of the most anticipated new games and panels with industry celebrities and known developers. Also, there are various gameplay spaces devoted to casual and competitive play, fascinating exhibitors selling products for interactive and tabletop gaming, thrilling esports events, and much more at PAX West, as there have been in prior years.
The general public will be able to purchase four-day and single-day credentials for PAX West beginning Thursday, June 16 at 3 p.m. ET on the official PAX West website. Individual credentials on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will cost $62 apiece, while four-day badges will cost $235.
As a follow-up to PAX Unplugged 2021 in Seattle, PAX Unplugged 2022 will be in Philadelphia from December 2–4, 2022, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This summer, weekend, and single-day PAX Unplugged credentials will be available for purchase.
Both media registration and panel submissions are now available for PAX West, with the deadline for panel submissions set for Friday, July 1. PAX West and PAX Unplugged exhibitors and suppliers will be revealed in the months leading up to each event.
PAX West 2022's health and safety standards will continue to meet or surpass CDC, local, and state norms. A complete COVID-19 vaccine series is needed for admittance to PAX West 2022 for all attendees, exhibitors, ReedPop employees, Penny Arcade employees, enforcers, and authorized facial coverings must be worn continuously. There are specifics in the health and safety criteria for our gaming community's protection, including information on the admission requirements and the procedures followed throughout the event.
Jerry Holkins, the co-founder of Penny Arcade, urged all PAX West and PAX Unplugged participants to adhere to all health and safety policies. "We would also want to remind everyone to take all necessary measures while outside the event. This includes wearing a mask in indoor settings, being tested alongside any travel or lodging partners, greeting friends with elbow bumps or a wave, and please see your doctor if you are at an elevated risk for disease or experiencing symptoms."
