Back 4 Blood's Expansion 1:Tunnels of Terror, is the first major piece of downloadable content (DLC) for the first-person co-op zombie shooter from Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios unveiled a new launch video.
Sharice, a fireman famed for her defensive abilities, and Heng, a tough-as-nails, no-nonsense restaurateur proficient in slaying Ridden with his knife, is introduced in the teaser as two new playable Cleaners debuting in this edition. There are seven Ridden-infested locations with labyrinthine tunnels under Evansburgh that up to four players may explore at a time in a new cooperative PvE adventure. New Warped Ridden, including landmine-setting Urchins, harrowing Shredders, and damage-dealing Rippers, must be outwitted by players to get prizes. It is possible to gain these Ridden variants and the new Cleaners for use in PvP battles by participating in PvP Swarm mode.
Seven new legendary weapons, eight character skins, 12 new skins, new cards, and more will be included in the Tunnels of Terror expansion. As a free upgrade for all Back 4 Blood owners, the No Hope difficulty will be added to the game, making it even more challenging for the most skilled players. As a reminder, if at least one party member has bought the expansion, all of the expansion's playable content will be available to everyone in the party.
Developed by Turtle Rock Studios, Back 4 Blood is a first-person co-op zombie shooter available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. As part of the Back 4 Blood: Ultimate Edition, the Back 4 Blood: Deluxe Edition, the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, or a stand-alone purchase, Back 4 Blood – Expansion 1: Tunnels of Terror will be released on April 12.
