Far Cry's Senior Developer Dan Hay Leaves Ubisoft

Ubisoft loses a huge developer

By Grayshadow, Posted 12 Nov 2021

Far Cry is one of Ubisoft's biggest franchises and the recent game Far Cry 6 has seen mostly positive reception. However today one of those senior developers responsible for the franchise has left the studio, with Dan Hay leaving the company.

Dan Hay,NoobFeed,

As reported by VGC Dan Hay has been part of the franchise since the soft reboot of the franchise with Far Cry 3. He would be part of every major installment such as Far Cry Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, and Far Cry New Dawn.

It's unclear why Hay left but recently lots of senior developers have been leaving the company. According to Kotaku sources, the company has been losing top talent for years and has announced pay raises to try and keep these people. This is all after the recent exposure of sexual misconduct and harassment that plagued the company.
