Marvel's Avengers has been one of the most disappointing games in the last year. Hopefully, some positivity is on the way with Spider-Man finally coming to the game this November 30th after being delayed for months, but fans are not happy.
As expected, fans are angry that it's an exclusive piece of DLC only for PS4 and PS5 versions of the game rightfully so. Spider-Man is one of the most popular characters in entertainment and his involvement in every game, regardless of platform, is negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Meaning the exclusive nature was done based on a publishing deal and not because Sony owns the character. This is why Spider-Man was in the Nintendo Switch exclusive game Marvel's Ultimate Alliance 3. It also doesn't help that the trailer is underwhelming.
After the incredible Marvel's Spider-Man the trailer shows a less mobile Spider-Man. Despite low numbers having excluded 2/3's of your player base won't do wonders to increase those numbers.
Marvel's Avengers is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
