Dying Light 2 isn't the only game receiving a delay. Today DICE and EA confirmed that Battlefield 2042 will launch this November 19th.
The delay is due to COVID-19 and the developers need more time to polish the experience. This means that Battlefield 2042 will launch about 2 weeks after Call of Duty: Vanguard. Like its biggest competitor, Activision will have to deliver or many players could leap from Call of Duty: Vanguard to Battlefield 2042.
This is also good since no one wants a repeat of Battlefield IV.
Battlefield 2042 will launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC this November 19th.
