Street Fighter V is one of few games with a redemption story. After a terrible launch, Capcom has turned Street Fighter V around for the better. Thanks to community feedback Capcom made Street Fighter V into an acclaimed title but now it's reaching its end. With Capcom confirming the final character is Oro and Akira.
Making her highly-anticipated Street Fighter debut, Akira Kazama began her fighting game career in the Rival Schools series, which began in 1997. In Street Fighter V, Akira dons her trademark black biker gear and prides herself on being the strong, silent type. That said, her playstyle speaks volumes when she’s at close range, but she’s also equipped with some long-distance moves that will leave her opponents thinking twice about straying too far. With plenty of new tricks up her biker gloves, Akira has been studying up and will be ready to school anyone who crosses her path.
Oro and Akira can be purchased for $5.99 or 70,000 Fight Money and is part of the Season 5 Character Pass or Premium Pass. The update will bring Oro, Akira, and Akira’s brand new stage “Rival Riverside” which will all be available starting August 16. Season 5, the final season of Street Fighter V, offers an additional five new characters, two new stages, and over 30 new costumes to current players, bringing the final totals in the game to 45 characters, 36 stages, and over 230 costumes.
