Experience the Horrors of Machines in Steelrising

When horror meets machinery

By Grayshadow, Posted 15 Jun 2021

Machines are terrifying what you think about. They're cold, unfeeling, slaves that will do anything for their masters. Nowadays we're accustomed to these creations but what about in 1789, what would happen if say a tyrant had control of complex machines. That's what Steelrising is about as Louis XVI has built an army of robots.

Steelrising,NoobFeed,

Louis XVI has taken his love for clockmaking to create deadly machines to punish rebels and spare no one.

1789 is the year of the Storming of the Bastille and the start of the monarchy's downfall. Steelrising depicts an alternative version of history: what if King Louis XVI, who loved clockmaking, had built an army of robots capable of quelling the insurrection? Powerful and cruel, this army spares no one and violently punishes rebels. Paris is burning and bleeding. Men, women and children are being systematically massacred.

You play as Aegis, an automaton and bodyguard of Marie-Antoinette where she must navigate the streets of Paris and avoid the machines.

Steelrising is in development for PC and consoles with a planned release of 2022.
