Hitman 3 launched a few days ago on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. A new analysis revealed that the Xbox Series X has the edge over PS5.
Digital Foundry ran an in-depth analysis comparing the two versions. Both versions ran very well and looked great, but the Xbox brought an impressive 4k resolution image. Comparatively, the PS5 was capable only of a lower 1800p. Both versions do, however, run at a smooth 60 frames per second.
In regards to textures and overall graphical quality; both systems run the game akin to ultra PC settings, with each capable of a high level of detail and 8x anisotropic filtering.
The Series S - Microsoft's lower-end next-generation console - performed well too, maintaining a solid 60 frames per second at 1080p resolutions.
Hitman 3 is now available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
