Larian Studios has disclosed additional stats from Baldur’s Gate 3’s player data. Previously the developer revealed that the most popular character build was a human male cleric, much to their disappointment. Larian hoped that the introduction of githyanki race and warlock class would have encouraged players to experiment. However, when it came to picking sides almost 75% of the player base sided with tieflings faction, while the rest assisted Minthara and the goblins. Larian believes this was more weighted by good vs evil alignment.
Players still prefer humans when it comes to romance, with Gale the human wizard scoring a third of the time. Shadowheart the elven cleric of Shar was a close second. Surprisingly, a small percentage of people chose to stay completely single. Additionally, an overwhelming majority of players took time out to play with the pet dog.
The post further listed numerous bug fixes and updates. This includes more cutscenes with better animations, sharper lighting, and more objects in the ambiance.
