Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer Gameplay Revealed, Will Feature Cross-Play and Progression

The yearly Call of Duty is almost here with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. With a new multiplayer trailer and information about the game. This includes cross-play, cross-progression, no season pass, a Battle Pass (Which is a season pass), free post-launch weapons, and Warzone integration.

The trailer provides an overall look at the various multiplayer maps with a new mode confirmed all Fireteam. This has 40 players with 4 teams of 10 fighting one another and completing objectives. 

The gunsmith will return allowing players to customize their weapons, allowing for 7 attachments per weapon. Each weapon has a progression tree. Wildcards will allow modified versions for each attachment for certain rules. Field upgrades will also return with various benefits such as disruption fields, launching missiles, and getting ammo.

A beta will come to PS4 first and will be offered for digital pre-orders:

Weekend 1 —  PS4 Exclusive 

Early Access Begins: October 8th

Open Beta Begins: October 10th

Weekend 1 Ends: October 12th

Weekend 2 — Beta on PS4, Xbox One, and PC 

 

Early Access for Xbox & PC (PS4 Open Beta) Begins: October 15th

Open Beta Begins: October 17th

Open Beta Ends: October 19th

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 this November 13th. It'll also launch for next-generation for $10 more, unlike CD Projekt RED who is giving free upgrades for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077.
