First Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was delayed and now out of nowhere 2 lead developers were fired.
A recent statement from Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive on the development process of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 revealed that lead narrative designer Brian Mitsoda and creative director Ka’ai Cluney have part ways from the studio. They called this choice a "joint decision' but still shocking according to the statement provided.
This seems like history is repeating itself. Those familiar with Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines know the game was plagued with issues when it launched, making the game nearly unplayable. It took a dedicated cult following to smooth out the problems, which after years the fans are still working on. With the sequel losing 2 key members just like this one can speculate that the development of this sequel is not going well.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be hitting Xbox Series X, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC sometime next year.
