We shipped and digitally sold over five million copies worldwide, which has made #FF7R the highest selling digital release on the PlayStation platform in #SquareEnix history! pic.twitter.com/f6vaDSHukD
This remake has been a long time coming. With fans waiting over a decade for Square Enix to release the remake of one of the most acclaimed adventures of all time. Currently, this is just Part 1 and Part 2 is in full development. Hopefully, we'll see it in the next 10 years considering how long Part 1 took not to mention other infamously long development periods for other Square Enix titles.
Currently the game has been discounted to $40.00 with all the promotional Nestle DLC now available for free.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available for PS4.
