Although the game just released in 2018, the promised remaster seems promising for the Spider-Man franchise. No more statements have been made concerning the remastered Spider-Man, but it is assumed that it will be on par with Miles Morales.
Some fans have begun speculations about why Spider-Man was being included alongside Insomniac's upcoming title. Miles Morales will reportedly be a shorter game, so some fans are believing that this addition is a way to persuade players to buy the new game.
But others have more concrete theories, such as the possibility that the events within Spider-Man will influence the story of Miles Morales. Although Insomniac has insisted that these two games will be focused on two separate Spider-Men, it is still likely that one's actions will affect the other, though the story behind the upcoming sequel has yet to be revealed.
With the PlayStation 5 and Miles Morales launch date of Holiday 2020 quickly approaching, it is likely that more information about this remaster will be released soon enough. After all, a rumored State of Play event is marked to debut in the first week of August, which would be a perfect time for Insomniac to elaborate on this new addition. But for now, all fans can do is wait, itching for the next juicy update before the console's release.
