FromSoftware's popular Playstation 4 title from 2015, Bloodborne, is beginning to return to the forefront of the gaming community with rumors of a remastered version of the game. Mid-May 2020, rumors began to flood the internet about Bloodborne supposedly getting a port to PC, though this was not confirmed at the time. Now at the beginnning of June, the rumors are starting to be confirmed on Twitter.
The source of these rumors comes from one @caseyexplosion, who has claimed to donate $100 to charity in return for "something juicy about the rumored Bloodborne PC port." What she received from her inside source revealed that a Bloodborne PC port was not only in the works, but that a remastered version of the game would be revealed for the PlayStation 5 later this week. However, it was said that FromSoftware themselves would not be in charge of this port to PC, but that fans would not be disappointed with the company that is porting the game.
Many speculations have begun to arise with this rumor, specifically pertaining to how the promised remastered game could possibly improve Bloodborne gameplay. As of right now, Bloodborne plays with HD quality and looks stunning on the PlayStation 4. But if the remastered rumor is true, players can expect higher frame rates, and specifically faster load times. With the PlayStation 5's boast of no loading screens, players will be able to more easily transition from one area of the game to another, allowing more playtime.
Despite whether or not these rumors are true, Bloodborne fans are excited that news of the game has begun to surface with promises of new content to bring in new players of the classic game.
