COVID-19 is causing havoc among many industries across the world, with governments limiting gatherings as much as possible. Many eSports events have been canceled or turned into all-digital events and added to the list is EVO 2020.
EVO made the announcement today on its official Twitter account. Confirming that all refunds will be provided as of now, with more information coming soon about an online event happening.
EVO is the biggest fighting game competition in the world, featuring the most acclaimed and talented gamers fighting in a variety of selected games for glory and prize money. The event attracts thousands of viewers each year but due to the pandemic changes have to be made.
