Microsoft recently revealed the quarterly financial earnings for the fiscal year. Despite console sales taking a dip the popular Xbox Game Pass service has been soring, with 10 million subscribers.
As reported by Gamesindustry.biz, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, stating that the service has reached 10 million users with 90 million monthly users on Xbox Live. With Xcloud, despite being in beta, having "hundreds of thousands" of users.
The success of Xbox Game Pass was not met with Xbox hardware sales, which should be expected. As the new Xbox Series X is set to release this year not a lot of people are going to buy the Xbox One. With Xbox Game Pass getting Rockstar's critically acclaimed title Red Dead Redemption 2 this May.
