Phalanx is perhaps the most beautiful creature in the entire game. Massive and gentle, it's not a hostile colossus. However, to save Wander's love it must die.
You'll notice that Phalanx has these huge lungs beneath its body, shoot them. Once destroyed Phalanx will attack Wander, use Agro's to match Phalanx and leap onto its wings.
Like Avion Phalanx will attempt to knock Wander off using an aileron roll. Phalanx's weaknesses are located underneath the flaps on its body. There are 3 in total and like Hydrus, if you don't act fast enough Phalanx will dive back into the sand and you'll have to repeat the process again.
