Shadow of the Colossus PS4 - How To Defeat The Twelfth Colossus

Pelagia, the most annoying colossus

By Grayshadow, Posted 29 Jan 2018

Pelagia is the most annoying battle in the entire game due to the fight taking place in an aquatic environment.

Shadow of the Colossus PS4,Pelagia,NoobFeed,Sony,

Pelagia's primary form of attack is the tusks on its head. When they glow take cover either my hiding behind a wall or diving underwater. There are 2 ways to jump on its head. The first is diving and swimming around until you can grab onto its mossy back. This is the longest but easiest way.

The second option is to take cover on land until Pelagia gets curious and sticks its head closer to Wander. Jump onto its face when it's close enough. This is a difficult jump but doable.

On Pelagia's head, you'll see tooth shaped stones around the rim. Hit the stones to force Pelagia to walk in that direction. Steer Pelagia to one of the center ruins and take cover by the stone center. Break Pelagia's line of sight but keep the creature interested by shooting arrows. Eventually, it'll leap onto the ruins exposing its weak point. The mossy heart in the center of the stone ribcage.

Stab it until Pelagia breaks the ruins, beginning the second part of the fight. Repeat the same process as before to bring Pelagia down.
