If you thought Hydrus was scary than wait till you take on Dirge. This snake will charge you with the force of a semi-truck. However, it does have a weakness and we're here to share that with you.
First get Dirge's attention than have it chase you long enough for its eyes to stick out. Shoot them to cause the beast to cry in pain and ram itself into a wall. This is your chance to grab onto the beast's body.
Dirge has 2 weak points, the first point is towards the lower end of the tail and the second is up towards the head. Take them out to kill the sand snake.
