Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks you already know how notoriously popular Pokémon GO is. Nintendo's stocks have soared, surpassing Sony, and people have been putting their jobs and sometimes their lives to play the free-to-play mobile game. Like the games and anime Pokémon are scattered in each region based on their geographic features, having players traveling large distances to cpature these creatures. However some have evaded capture and fans are on the hunt for these 6 rarest Pokémon.
According to a chart constructed by some dedicated fans on Reddit the 6 hardest Pokémon to locate are Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Mewtwo, Mew, and surprisingly Ditto. A fan has shared the code for Pokémon GO to prove that these Pokémon do exist in the game but are simply difficult to find.
Giving these Pokémons characteristics it seems fitting that they're difficult to find. The Legendary Birds have become staples within the game since each one of them represent one of the three teams within Pokémon Go: Team Instinct, Team Valor, and Team Mystic. Mewtwo is classified as one of the most powerful Pokémon in the universe and Mew has always been the hardest creature to locate and capture since Pokémon Red and Blue. As for Ditto giving the Pokémon's breeding ability it seems logical to have it as one of the tougest finds, Ditto has played a massive role throughout the games for those looking to breed the strongest Pokémon or attempting to catch them all.
As I saw in NYC personally the stampede of players attempting to capture Vaporeon would be nothing in comparison if one of these creatures happen to appear. After playing so many Pokémon games my assumption is to search the darkest caves and abandon Power Plants for these Pokémon, after all they were found in those locations in the original games. Just remember to stay safe, people have lost their lives playing this game.
However if you truly want to catch them all be prepare to travel. Some people are region exclusive. Farfetch'd is only available in Japan, Mr. Mime in Europe, Tauros in North American, and Kangaskhan is in AUS. Remember this is just for the original 151, imagine how insane things will become when the other Pokémon become available.
