  • I totally agree with this, if you haven't played skyrim yet it is totally worth every penny and should buy it  asap, truth is i really want to see how anyone can top this.

  • I don't think anyone's going to argue against this choice.

  • i've never play any of this game series.. will it effect when i play skyrim???

  • @patrickjc: Not noticeably, but you really should start playing it. Even though Oblivion and Morrowind are pretty great in their own merit, I'd say start with Skyrim. You won't regret it.

  • agreed. game was toooooo well made.

@patrickjc not at all. if you like reading the game has a zillion books with mentions of the past games. but completely unnecessary. The story of each elder scroll is pretty much stand alone.

  • *lets out a dwindling groan of disappointment*

  • @Kasp_Falco Oh? Care to elaborate? I'd love to hear some arguments on this.

    Posted Jan 07, 2012

  • Well-deserved. Skyrim is a typical example of a game that is so much more than the sum of its parts. People have been trying to discredit the game later for pointing out its flaws and shortcomings in, well, an admittedly wide array of areas. But when all elements come together - exploration, combat, music, art direction, etc. - that's when it becomes the magical experience that everyone's talking about.

That doesn't mean that Skyrim doesn't get some individual aspects completely right as well, though: the art direction is phenomenal, and the dungeon design is already really good this time around.

So in conclusion: not the most exciting choice, but really, this game just outright deserved it.
