Defeat one of Shinra's most powerful creations

The Air Buster is one of Shinra's most powerful robots. Built to take down giant monsters Final Fantasy VII Remake's version of the deadly machine is not a pushover like in the original game. Here's how to beat it.

Final Fantasy VII Remake,Square Enix,NoobFeed,

The first phase will start like the original, with Cloud on the right side and Barret and Tifa on the other side of the Air Buster. The fight is timed, with about 20 minutes to defeat the boss. The Air Buster is weak to Thunder magic so use magic or elemental damage to cause maximum damage. Cloud will take mostly melee attacks while Tifa and Barret will have to deal with the cannons on its back. I recommend using Cloud as its easy to dodge the Air Buster's melee attacks.

The second phase will open with the Air Buster taking the central platform and using a laser. Stand with your allies and avoid the laser before attacking again. Depending on what choices you made leading to the fight the Air Buster will start to use its shells or attack at a faster rate. It'll also deattach its arms and use them as separately along with homing lasers and rockets. It sounds a lot but the Air Buster can only target 1 ally, allowing your other allies to attack while 1 serves as a tank.

The final phase will have the Air Buster take flight. At this point use Barret to cause as much damage as possible. Once enough is done the Buster will come into range, mostly to use its Tankbuster laser. If so make sure to dodge this attack or keep it away from your allies. Tifa and Cloud should focus on defense while Barret attacks. Use Thunder magic and keep up the assault until it falls.
